What is Qi and how does it travel?
Qi - Life energy, flows throughout the body, it helps to animate the body and protect it from illness, pain, and disease. A person's health is influenced by the quality, quantity and balance of Qi.. Meridian pathways are like rivers, where a river flows, it transports life-giving water that nourish the land, plans, and people. In the same way, meridian pathways transport life giving Qi to nourish and energize every cell, organ, gland, tissue, and muscle. Acupuncture and Oriental medicine support and strengthen the systems of the body that are involved in the production of Qi. When Qi is flows freely, we remain healthy By building up the supply of Qi and facilitating the smooth and free flow of it through the body, one enjoys good physical, mental and emotional well-being.
